Rehab Coaching

Ever been given exercises by your physio and then gone to try them and thought, "Wow, they made that look easy!"? Rehab coaching is all about moving your horse on the ground so that you can achieve the desired effect of the exercises; like a personal trainer, for your horse. This may be improving their strength, bringing them back into work or rehabilitating them from injury, and can include long-reining, static exercises and pole work.
We know that some horses are harder to handle than others, and that some are just very good at evading the requests. Rehab coaching sessions can be 1-2-1 or in pairs or small groups and sessions are targeted towards the exercises that will be most helpful for you and horse to work on. Often these are based on a prescribed rehabilitation or strength and conditioning plan, although this does not need to be the case. The goal of a rehab coaching session is to empower and enable you to achieve the desired results on the ground with your horse, long after we've gone home.
